Our Story
The Port Gibson United Methodist Church is the only church in the hamlet of Port Gibson. The present church was built in 1871 on the foundation of a cobblestone church originally erected in 1834. This year we are celebrating 150 years of worship in this beautiful brick building. The Port Gibson UMC is listed on both the State and National Register of Historic Places.
